Dispersant Testing Under Realistic Conditions

Key Deliverables

This project will provide additional evidence to support dispersant use in ice-covered waters. Three reports have been published: a State of Knowledge review of existing research into Dispersant Testing Under Realistic Conditions, a report on Test Tank Inter-Calibration for Dispersant Efficiency, and a State of Knowledge review into Dispersant Use in Ice-affected Waters: Status of Regulations and Outreach Opportunities. In addition to the final project report, a manuscript will be developed and submitted for publication in a peer-reviewed journal. Results will be presented at one of the international oil spill conferences.
